The Photograph Gallery
Indicators is a collection of geometric mirrors, designed by Jérémy Murier & Daniel Martinez, made out of solely two parts. The cylindrical ceramic bases are concave within the middle which provides the mirror the phantasm of floating above it by extending the angle of the mirror. The mirrors themselves are made out of polished mirror sheets of copper.
Elements of the copper are given both a sandblasted matte or sensible end, making a graphic component that continues the visible illusions. The reflections undoubtedly play video games together with your notion and perspective of what you’re seeing and would make actually cool stands in your jewellery and even simply sitting on a desk or shelf.
You can even see that the finishes have been impressed by the nautical flag codes, can’t you?
Indicators was introduced in Milan at Ventura Lambrate in an exhibition curated by Cotto Ceramic.
