Amazing Split View of the Milky Way

Ultimate October, photographer Johannes Holzer braved the winter chilly to setup a sequence of prolonged-publicity footage alongside the the Isar, a river in Southern Germany. To carry out the eye-popping view of the Milky Method, a mountainous panorama, and the murky depths of the river he relied on two cameras to shoot three footage from roughly the equivalent perspective, stitched collectively proper right here in a final image. Holzer says the image “was achieved with two cameras, [the] sky with a Sony A7r and Vixen Polarie Startracker, one additional shot for the panorama with out [a] Startracker, [and] underwater was completed with a Canon 5Dm2 with an EWA Underwater case.”
