Tackling a renovation and addition to an already present mid-century trendy residence in Santa Monica, California was Argentine architect Pablo Jendretzki of Jendretzki LLC. Situated within the Rustic Canyon space that borders the Pacific Palisades, the tree-surrounded pavilion needed to work for a extremely-practical LA household and their love of Scandinavian design.
The addition consists of a separate glass and wooden coated pavilion that blends in whereas making a tranquil yard work studio for the household. The wooden deck offers an outside area for seating and having fun with the view.
A pathway leads from the primary home to the pavilion.
One aspect of the construction is roofed with flooring-to-ceiling sliding glass doorways blurring the strains between the indoors and out.
Skylights have been put in serving to to fill the inside with much more mild.
A mid-century impressed hearth hangs within the seating space offering a comfortable focus.
