After stints because the artwork director for 2 document labels, artwork directing, and designing album packaging and advert campaigns for musicians, Cole Gerst turned the primary in-home artwork director for the Home of Blues company. In 2002, Gerst left Home of Blues to create the visible communication agency Choice-G. In 2005, the corporate launched t-shirt line, promoting to such corporations as City Outfitters and Fred Segal. For this week’s CMYLK, we paired three of Gerst’s acrylic and combined media work with palettes created with Colourlovers.
