The Photograph Gallery
These work by Kristy Gammill, which are actually dripping with colour, are making the rounds on Pinterest artwork boards of late. They’re kind of impressionist meets summary, with a little bit of ethnic patterning thrown in. The combination of vibrant and fairly colours, with a pop of neon, make them an interesting candidate for a Colourlovers palette workup.
Gammill, who lives in Oklahoma, and is for probably the most half self-taught, tells us, “I discover inspiration in every little thing from historic textile patterns to flea market finds, and I’m drawn to a saturated, all-in colour palette — the extra the higher!”
We devised palettes for 3 items of her work. Which one is your favourite?
