Usually, geometric paintings feels tremendous crisp and desperately in search of perfection. Nevertheless, Deborah’s geometric works are rather more muted and mushy. They sort of remind me of aged wall murals painted on prime of on each other. And that’s how she creates them too – by continually layering time and again till she lands on a configuration that’s passable.
