The Photograph Gallery
The Photograph Drips collection, by German-born, Brooklyn-based mostly Markus Linnenbrink, is pure rainbow-coloured goodness. His items are positively dream-like and are explorations in shade and texture all rolled into one.
This collection, pigment-tinted epoxy resin on photograph-mounted wooden panels, permits for temporary moments of the photograph to peek by way of the vivid paint strains, virtually like reminiscences fading out and in. The dripped strains of resin down the entrance of the panels appear as if raised ridges that create depth all through each bit. I really like how the drips of resin have dried on the backside of the panels like they have been able to drip off onto the ground. His work is just mesmerizing.
